Who books airport group transfers
Three client types dominate our airport group bookings: (1) corporate teams arriving or departing together for conferences, offsites, or earnings roadshows, (2) wedding and bachelor/bachelorette parties arriving into NYC from out of town, (3) families and group leisure travelers who've realized that splitting into three Ubers is strictly worse than a single sprinter. All three use cases share a core need: keeping a group of 8+ together with luggage at a predictable price.
How our flight tracking works
Every airport arrival is tracked in real time from wheels-up. If you land 40 minutes early, the chauffeur is already staged at baggage claim. If you're delayed, we re-stage: you don't pay for the delay wait time. The 60-minute complimentary wait clock starts at your actual wheels-down, not your scheduled arrival. For international flights with long customs queues, we adjust the meet-up point to arrivals lobby rather than baggage claim when it's faster. This coordination happens in dispatch automatically; you don't need to coordinate it on your phone while walking through customs.
Meet-and-greet vs. curbside
By default, your chauffeur meets the group inside at baggage claim holding a name card. For clients traveling light or with pre-arranged expediting (Global Entry + no checked bags), curbside pickup saves 10-15 minutes and the sprinter stages in the limousine/livery zone at each airport. For TEB and private charter arrivals, we stage planeside at the FBO by prior arrangement. Specify your preference at booking; we default to meet-and-greet for any group with checked bags.
Per-airport operational notes
At JFK, groups should plan 75 minutes for the Midtown drive during 4-7 PM weekday rush and 55-60 minutes off-peak, routed via the Van Wyck and Belt Parkway. At LGA, the Terminal B rebuild (completed 2022) is the primary Sprinter staging area, and the typical Midtown drive is 25-45 minutes via the Grand Central Parkway and RFK Bridge. At EWR, the Holland Tunnel adds 15-25 minutes during peak inbound windows, and our chauffeurs often re-route via the Lincoln Tunnel or George Washington Bridge depending on live conditions. TEB is FBO-only: we work with Jet Aviation, Signature, Meridian, and Atlantic on planeside pickup by prior arrangement.
Departures: getting to the airport on time
For departures, the chauffeur arrives at your pickup 30-45 minutes before the scheduled pickup time (30 minutes in Manhattan, 45 minutes if we're starting from Brooklyn or further out). We target terminal curb 2 hours before international departures and 90 minutes before domestic, with 15-20 extra minutes of buffer baked in. For groups departing together, one Sprinter often makes two pickups (primary hotel + secondary group of travelers) to consolidate the load. All tolls: Triboro, George Washington, Lincoln, Holland: are included in the flat rate.

What if my flight is canceled or rerouted?

If your flight is canceled or rerouted to a different NYC airport, we redirect the chauffeur to the new airport at no additional charge: the flat rate covers the originally booked pickup airport and destination. For rerouting to a non-NYC airport (Boston, Washington), we convert to hourly pricing on the full day.
