How route pricing works
Each published route is a one-way starting rate for the whole Sprinter, not a price per seat. The rate is set by the distance between the two endpoints, so the same figure applies whether eight or twelve people are travelling. Bridge and tunnel tolls, congestion pricing and parking that is not part of the route are handled in the booking form, which shows your final price before you accept it.
Nothing on this page changes with demand. A Friday afternoon run to the Hamptons in July and a Tuesday morning run in May start from the same number; what changes in peak periods is availability, which is why summer weekends and event weeks should be booked 2-4 weeks ahead.
Airport routes
The four airport routes are the most frequently booked legs we run. JFK and LaGuardia start at $600 to Midtown, and Newark and Teterboro start at $600. Drive times depend heavily on the hour: JFK takes 45-75 minutes via the Van Wyck and Belt Parkway, with the long end of the range during the 4-7 PM weekday rush, while LaGuardia is the closest airport to Manhattan at 25-45 minutes via the Grand Central Parkway. At Newark the Holland Tunnel can add 15-25 minutes at peak, so chauffeurs switch to the Lincoln Tunnel when conditions call for it. Long-distance and day-trip routes
Longer routes fall into three groups. City-to-city runs to Philadelphia, Washington, DC and Boston replace a train or a short flight for groups that want to travel door to door with their luggage. Leisure routes to Atlantic City, Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun, and Woodbury Common are usually booked for a group day or weekend. Wine country routes to the Hudson Valley and the North Fork are typically part of a full-day wine tour, where the vehicle stays with the group between vineyards.
Route or hourly?
A published route suits a single leg where the vehicle is released at the destination. If the Sprinter needs to wait, bring the group back the same day or make several stops, hourly service with a 3-hour minimum is usually the better fit because every stop inside the booked window is included.
